little tike

An afternoon with Julia is always fun and adventurous! It is amazing how quickly she has gone from an infant to a toddler. They grow up so fast!

She was squinting in the first few pictures I took of her. Not sure if this is a new thing of her's or not, but it is kind of cute.

Who can resist this face?!? Too cute!!!

There it is again, but I can understand doing it in the sun. We should have brought her sunglasses out with her.
This is a past picture of her with her sunglasses on. Back to our day.....
I love, love, love, love this picture!!!!!
Perhaps a little golf? She has a great swing! Maybe she will be a professional golfer and earn the millions.
She and I have been talking a lot about photosynthesis and how the sun and rain feed the plants, the plants feed the dirt, the dirt and plants feed the bugs, the bugs feed the bigger animals....basically the whole life cycle of plants and how important they are for everything. We have been learning to not fear bugs and have been playing with rolypolys and saving the mosquito eaters that get into the house and putting them outside. We looked at a spider yesterday and talked about how it eats the bugs that eat the plants. She has been very interested in this, partly because that means she gets to play in dirt, but also because she finds it all interesting. It is fantastic how much they want to learn while they are this age. She is just absorbing and learning all of the time. So much fun!!!
