This is Abby. She is our German Shorthaired Pointer/Brittany Spaniel mix that we adopted as a puppy when we lived in Utah from a no kill organization. You couldn't ask for a more loving, companionable, generous and likable dog. She loves to go up to people and give them hugs. She will literally just come up to you and lay her head on your shoulder, that is how she hugs you.

She is and always has been my companion. She follows me around and in any room I am in she has a designated spot that she stays where she can watch me. One look at her or one mention of her name and her gigantic tail is wagging like crazy.

See the white blur in the lower left corner....Abby's tail wagging like crazy.
Things I love about Abby:
her nose
To me it is so cute. She was bred as a hunting dog and she has an amazing sense of smell. Because of her breeding she has an ENORMOUS amount of energy. She was bred to hunt for 24 hour periods at a time. She has webbed toes for swimming, but Abby hates the water.
her super cute paws
I just love that just like her fur is multi colored and different so are her paws. So unique!
her long floppy ears
She is always flopping them around and sometimes they look so interesting. I thought this one looked almost elegant.
This time she laid one of them on my book because she was trying really hard to lay close to me.
This is our Abby and we feel very lucky to have found such an amazing dog.
