Harry and I were playing around on Priceline thinking it would be fun to go spend the night at a four star hotel. We decided to start the bidding at a ridiculously low price when the website informed us that the average bid that is accepted for a four star hotel in the heart of the city is $169. Harry and I paid less than half of that! We were accepted to our amazement and surprise when we thought there was no way it would be! So we packed up, called family to please watch our home and our animals and away we went. We used to go to the Marriott in downtown Salt Lake across from the temple all of the time and we were so excited to do it in a new city and experience new things. It was lovely.
At the hotel check in we asked for a city view and ended up on the 21st floor. How lucky were we!!! So the views were AMAZING:
Harry decided to check out the amenities and room service immediately!
"Oh, hi!"
As the sun starting setting the pictures became more beautiful.
The skyline at night. So pretty with all of the buildings and lights. We slept with our curtains open just so we could look out at the lights. We used to do that when we would stay in Salt Lake and always made sure our room was overlooking the temple and it is an amazing thing to do. I highly recommend it! You fall to sleep to beauty and then wake up to it also!
